What is an aroma oil?
Quite simply, an aroma is made from fragrance oil. Aroma Oils are typically used to create a wonderful fragrance to suit the mood of the user. Aroma oil is therefore added to wax to create wax melts and candles but can also be used in an aroma oil diffuser (either electric or ceramic).
How does an oils diffuser work?
A volume of water is added to a diffuser followed by a few drops of aroma oil according to personal preference on strength of scent. A heat source is then applied (a tea light for a ceramic burner) thereby heating the water which releases scented steam into the air.
