How did we get here?
Meet our founder, Hannah!
Ava Mayfair, originally known as Ava May Aromas was founded by Hannah in July 2018 in her parent’s kitchen, having quit her full-time marketing job, she decided to create her own home fragrance brand. Initially, she only expected Ava May Aromas to be a part-time income, but things quickly took off on social media and the business soon became a full-time job. Fast forward six years later and the business continues to grow and evolve, but whilst the branding and name may have changed over time, one thing has always remained the same and that’s our commitment to creating beautiful fragrances, both inspired and original blends, to fragrance your homes.
‘I started pouring scented candles from my parent’s kitchen, much to their delight! I soon discovered wax melts via Instagram and brought them into the mix, which saw orders come flooding in. My mini operation was swiftly outgrowing their kitchen and has continued to grow. The entrepreneurial journey has had many ups and downs but I can honestly say it has all been worth it and I am so excited to see what the future holds for Ava Mayfair.’

As we head into 2025, we plan to keep creating luxurious, bespoke home fragrances that enhance your everyday moments while staying kind to the planet and the people involved in the supply chain. We’ve got lots of limited-edition fragrances & stunning new charms planned throughout the year.
Plus, we’ll be expanding our new Home Care range with more designer-inspired fragrances that not only leave your home smelling incredible but also leave it sparkling.
